Some Symptoms Of Diabetes
Diabetes is a long-term (chronic) condition caused by too much glucose (sugar) in the blood. It is a disorder which disrupts the mechanism by which the body controls blood sugar.
Diabetes or diabetes mellitus is a result of inability of pancreas to produce insulin or to use it in a proper way thus resulting in excessive quantity of sugar in blood and urine. Diabetes develops when your body does not produce enough insulin or your body does not effectively use the insulin that it does produce.
The earlier symptoms of diabetes are a feeling of excessive thirst, excessive drinking of fluids to quench the excessive thirst and frequent urination. The signs and symptoms of diabetes are: Increased thirst, going to the rest room (for a wee) all the time especially at night , extreme tiredness, weight loss, blurred vision, genital itching or regular episodes of thrush, slow healing of wounds. In Type 1 diabetes the signs and symptoms will usually be very obvious, developing quickly, usually over a few weeks.
Other signs of diabetes may vary from each person but they are primarily similar and may or may not be noticeable immediately. In many cases, the individuals with these symptoms of diabetes do not notice them and only take note that something may be wrong when other more serious symptoms of diabetes occur.
